"Al Ain Hospital, a highly specialized acute care and emergency hospital with 402 beds and more than 35 medical departments and divisions, is one of the two major hospitals in the Al Ain region of the Emirate of Abu Dhabi belonging to the health system of the Abu Dhabi Health Services Company SEHA (www.seha.ae ). Al Dhafra Family Medicine Center is the first family medicine center in Al Gharbia region. It started operations in July 2009.It is a state-of-the art facility, offering comprehensive family centered care that encompasses men’s healthcare, women’s healthcare, child Healthcare including immunizations, as well as mental healthcare, in addition to health education and health promotion services.The Center also offers many screening services such as screening for breast, colorectal and cervical cancers, osteoporosis as well as premarital screening services and Weqaya program. The Center’s operations are supported by pharmacy, laboratory and radiological services. A solid homecare program that covers Madinat Zayed and all other Al Gharbia cities is based in DFMC.
